Those that do not have e-mail will receive the letter by snail mail. E-mails will be sent the weekend before the meeting. I will try to get the newsletter to Jay to be posted by the 3rd week of the month.

 

Notes from the October meeting

Attendance: 29 We had some visitors, George Billinger , and he wants to join the club, also Walley Howarter. His interest is flying helicopters. We thank Les Holland for locating us a new meeting place.  Treasury report: cash on hand $2471.84, CD 18851.82, expenses $0.00. Safety: no comment by Les Holland. Remember the frequencies for channel 38-39-40-41 have interference so fly at your own risk with these channels. Jay Dangourian received permission to start and the club voted to finance the web page. Jay has started it, check it out, www.tryvalleyrcmodelers.com. Bob  Allington showed a portable plane holder made from PVC. It looked good. The 50-50 drawing collected $79.00 and Wes Vosburg received $39.00. Crash of the month went to Less Holland, he lost his Harrier. Nominations are as follows: President, Larry Schlagel; Vice President, James Oberst; Secretary, Jerry Miller; and Del wheeler was appointed as Newsletter Editor. The newsletter will be on the web site by the third week of the month and the mail outs will be mailed the last weekend of the month.

The newsletter is short this month because of the time to set up all the e-mails and basic format. If you did not receive a newsletter please e-mail and let me know.
