Minutes of the Tri-Valley Aero modelers

February 6, 2006

The meeting was opened at 7:00 by President Larry Schlagel.

New Members: Keith Windsor and Walt Greenawalt

Safety: No report

Field Search Report: Larry and Les Holland met with city and discovered that Teresa Rayburn and Dwayne Chisam are the appropriate contacts for the flying field.  The city has new landfill property that may have room for a flying field.  The new location is on the Los Flores Ranch property.  This gives us two possibilities, the original site and this new landfill location.

New Business:  It was moved that Matt at Big Boys Toys be made an honorary member. S&P.

Bob Allington suggested that we repair the road to our current flying site. No action.

Wes Vosberg announced that he will no longer be a flight instructor. This creates an opening for a volunteer.

Crash of the Month:  Kornel Krantz  had what he characterized as a hard landing.

Show and Tell: Larry demonstrated a clever plane support made with bar clamps and PVC pipes.

Respectfully submitted,

Jerry Miller
